let the journey begin 7/8.9.22

The announcement of ÖBB a week ago, that i have to begin my journey in a seat iso a couchette on the car-nighttrain did not materialise in the end, I even got upgraded to a sleeper coach. Seeing all the motorbikes going on the car train, awoke some sweet but very old memories. But taking the bike was not an option, as my old VW Polo was totally packed with kite stuff, blankets and luggage from some crews i am expecting over the next 3 weeks.

So after 14hrs I arrived in Livorno, putting the car to a secured parking and boarding another train going for a daytrip to Pisa.

Can't even imagine what Pisa must be in summertime, so many tourists all making the same stupid picture holding the Tower of Pisa, otherwise a nice italian city, so is Livorno, very picturesque drive along Viale Italiana with the old marine-officer's villas.

My little blue smurf hasn't seen the sea before. 

Now queueing for the ferry to Olbia, really looking forward to having a shower and a beer.
